Molly is a Ruby Red Caviler King Charles Spaniel. 5 years old. Miss Molly is adorable, sweet, loving, smart and a princess demanding to be loved. She was surrendered by her owners (due to inability to care for her) to a shelter 2 years ago. She was never adopted and frankly we can't figure out why. She came into Keeper Rescue very over weight (19 1/2 pounds) and she does have a back issue but she has been on a diet with good food and is losing the pounds. Her target weight is 12-13 pounds. She also goes for an "exercise" walk each morning. Since we have had her she is getting around better and our vet feels that with proper diet, exercise and love she is going to be just fine. Molly will need a home where she has no stairs to climb (you can carry her and she thinks that that is just terrific) and where she wouldn't jump off of a bed or furniture. She is a true princess and likes to be the center of attention so she would probably be best as an only dog. We want to find her a calmer home with gentle people. She does love car rides and is perfect, loves people and is an all around sweetie pie (just look at her picture). Molly loves her "dolly's" too ! This little girl had a few issues to overcome and is doing great. You meet her, you fall in love. She had quite the waddle as she walked !!
