Timber's Story...
Timber is one great looking boy, and he knows it. He loves to prance around and show off. Timber is a very high energy dog and will need a family that can match his energy requirements. If anyone is looking for a marathon training partner, you've just found him. (Unlike humans he will always match your pace!) Timber is a smart athletic boy, and he does try to please his humans. When he's really excited he does pull on the leash at first, but after a few minutes and a few verbal reminders he walks nicely (For a dog of his strength, that's a very good thing.) Timber would love to have another dog to play with in his home, but he's not a big fan of cats. Kids are great too, but Timber needs to have enough exercise that he's not knocking them over if he gets too excited. If you are looking for an athletic intelligent companion, Timber is your dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Timber, a Roosevelt Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Roosevelt, or seeking a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Roosevelt.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roosevelt already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roosevelt breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roosevelt paves the way for another one to be saved.
