Thunder's Story...
Thunder: 4 month old manecoon domestic long hair mix. He is current on shots and has been de-wormed and no fleas. He will be neutered by August 30. He got his name from Thundering Paws, our organization. His sister, Paws has gone on to be adopted, but he is still awaiting placement. He is mostly black but has a white belly with grey tufts of fur growing from around and behind his ears. He has a muted ringed gray tabby tail. His photos do not do this baby justice. He is handsome and loves to sleep in bed with humans. He loves to play with balls and is a real sweet cuddler. He has been lovingly hand-raised by his foster mom and three girls. He had a very rough start as he was thrown in the trash and was left in the rain to die with his sistes. One sister died in the rescue, too far gone to save. Maggots were crawling on the babies. This miracle baby is the sweetest, most loyal kitten we have ever had. Please call Katherine about this boy at 910-261-8793.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thunder, a Parkton Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Parkton, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Parkton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkton paves the way for another one to be saved.
