Oakley aka Angel's Story...
8/17: Oakley was adopted in July or so...and returned today. Her adopter is leaving for college so she's back at the shelter hoping for a solid new home this time. She's an awesome girl who loves people, she would make an excellent family member and friend. If there's someone out there who thinks she could be their match please go meet her, you won't regret it! Run...don't walk. She's worth it. (and she deserves it!) -Maryann

Oakley is a charming young girl...as you can see she's gorgeous and has a personality to match! Oakley is listed as a Rottweiler/Coonhound mix and will be on the large side.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oakley aka Angel, a Bedford Rottweiler/Coonhound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Coonhound (Unknown Type) for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Rottweiler/Coonhound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Coonhound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Rottweiler/Coonhound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
