Pepper's Story...
Pepper came into the shelter with his sister Paprika, and although they both seemed to be strays, they are some of the happiest puppies you'll ever meet. Pepper is always ready to play, and he is a fat little ball of energy, he loves to wriggle in your lap or play tug of war. When he tires himself out he likes to cuddle with his sister, or in your lap. Pepper is a really sweet boy with a very happy personality. He does well with cats, kids, and all other dogs right now, and as long as he is socialized by his adopted family he will always be happy to meet new people and explore new places. Pepper has heterochromia which means one of his eyes is light blue, and the other is brown. It makes his face really unique, and it doesn't mean he has poor eyesight, he can see just fine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pepper, a Roosevelt Hound (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Roosevelt, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Roosevelt.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roosevelt already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roosevelt breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roosevelt paves the way for another one to be saved.
