Booker's Story...
Booker is as handsome as he is fun. He is around 7 months old so highly trainable. If you know anything about labs, you will already know that they are loyal, loving, and fun and Booker is no exception to the rule. He is true blue black lab all the way. Booker will be neutered, up to date on shots, and heart worm tested upon completion of adoption. If you have a big place in your heart and family for labs, Booker is looking for you. If you are interested in helping save another black lab, Please hurry and contact Melodie at 217-822-3980 and please leave a message with your name and phone number so she can return the call.

Act quickly to adopt Booker. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Booker, a Paris Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Paris, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Paris.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Paris already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Paris breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Paris paves the way for another one to be saved.
