Carmine's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Carmine's Story...
This is Carmine, she and her brother Mr. Guy were found on Colville National Forest land northeast of Colville, in an area inhabited by many potential predators:coyote packs, cougar, bear, large lynx, and even some wolves and grizzly bears. When they were found they were half-starved, banged up and looking like something the cat dragged in. That they survived in that dangerous wilderness is truly amazing!

Carmine and Mr. Guy are currently staying with their foster mom where they are beginning to put weight back on and recovering from their ordeal. The vet who examined Carmine said he thought she was approx. 1-2 years old and should weight around 33 lbs when she gains all her weight back.

Carmine, named for her Caramel colouring, looks like she could have red Dobie blood. She is house-trained, but lacks other training, although she foster mom is working with her. Carmine is very easy going and gets along well with other animals and people including small children. She is very friendly and learns quickly.

Carmine craves a family of her own--and snuggling, for her, would be icing on the cake!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carmine, a Colville Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Colville, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Colville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colville paves the way for another one to be saved.
