Confidence's Story...
I came to AWLMC because my owner went through a separation and was no longer able to financially afford me. I am a stunning long haired calico. I have beautiful eyes too. I love attention and want to spend time with my favorite humans. When you great me I will roll on my back and show you my pretty belly. I purr and will rub all over you. I like to sit in laps also. I like to help with everything too. I am a great assistant! Please do not pick me up though; I prefer to have all four on the floor! Come see me and my friends today! I was born in 2008.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Confidence, a Gaithersburg Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Gaithersburg, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Gaithersburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gaithersburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gaithersburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gaithersburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
