My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Update 08/05/12: Tay comes from a Puppy Mill she is a 11 lb spay female Yorkie. All up to date with vaccines and heartworm meds and frontline plus. She also just had a teeth cleaning. Tay and I just finished an Obedience class together she did very well being a puppy mill dog. She let everyone pet her and walk her on leash. She is shy and i think she always will be. Tay needs a home with everyone understanding she came from a puppy mill and might be shy the rest of her little life. So her home has to be with NO children. She is ok with other dogs and cats. Tay doesn't like men to much, she just flat out ignores men. A fenced in yard is a MUST.

Her New forever home will also need to know she needs structure first in her life then understanding, then love and in that order. Tay is a older dog learning new experiences for the first time just like a puppy would. She is almost house broke ok day time but needs papers at night that comes from being in a cage for 7 yrs. I would be more than happy to help in anyway with Tay. I have taught Dog Obedience for 30+ yrs. Puppy mill dogs have to be loved for that they are NOT for what you think you can make them.

New Initial Bio: Hi. It's me...Tay. You may remember me, as I was a UYR pup last year. I was adopted by a nice couple, but they returned me to my foster mom. Since I spent most of my life in a puppy mill, I understandably have some issues that need to be worked on before I can be adopted again. Foster mom is going to take me to a great trainer and we are going to work hard for the next 6 weeks on lots of things. I will keep you updated on my progress and let you know when I am ready to find my forever home. By the way, I am about 6 years old and weigh 11 pounds. Foster mom thinks a home with other dogs would be ideal for me, as I would love some K9 companions!
