Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A small, very badly matted and dirty ball of fur was roaming the streets looking for food and a safe place. Luckily he stopped at the right house - a lady who rescues and fosters dogs lived there and took him in. However she was full to overflowing, and sent out a request for a home and so he came to us.
Skittles has been to the Vet, is healthy, neutered and current on shots and will be microchipped. After a trip to the groomer there emerged this incredibly cute little guy. Most of his silky hair had to be shaved but they did manage to keep the hair on his head so he looks like a very thin dog with a big head! When the body hair grows back he will be one very handsome dog!
In addition to his cuteness he is a very happy, playful and friendly dog. His time on the streets did not change his interest in and attachment to people. He is well behaved in the house, is okay with dogs and cats and appears to be house trained but may need a refresher course on that.
Skittles wants a home where he is not left alone for long periods of time, is probably ok with children over the age of 4, and at this point does not like being crated. Skittles is as sweet as the candy he is named for and will bring fun and joy to his new forever home.
His adoption fee of $115 covers neuter, vaccines, deworming, microchip, heartworm test and starting on heartworm prevention.
