My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Homer is a super handsome black lab boy. He is about 2 years old and weighs about 70 lbs. Homer has all the great characteristics that you would look for in a young lab. He loves attention, loves to play, loves to fetch the tennis ball, loves to go for walks, loves to give kisses and just basically loves to be around his people. Homer would love nothing more than to have a wonderful family to call his very own. He would be a great companion for any family, as he has been well socialized with men, women and children. He is even great with the kitties. He would be considered a medium energy boy and is crate trained. Homer has a very calm demeanor and walks very easy on the leash. We are sure that hiking and swimming would also be at the top of his “things I love to do” list along with just hanging out with his people. Obedience classes would be a breeze for this boy and he would certainly be the star of the class. During a routine x-ray there were about 3 pellets of buckshot noticed in his chest. This would be indicative of something typical for a bird dog who may have been hit accidentally at one time. A video of Homer can be seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIXGl4DrCW0&feature=share&list=ULyIXGl4DrCW0 Homer is vetted and micro-chipped. He is also on flea and tick preventative as well as heartworm preventative. If you are interested in learning more about this really great boy, please indicate Homer in the notes section of the online application
