Jack's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Jack's Story...
Jack is a fantastic young lab mix (about 1-2 years). He is neutered, HW negative, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is currently in a foster home with 3 other large dogs and doing wonderfully. He loves to play with his foster siblings! He is learning basic commands and also has not had an accident in the house! Jack would do best in a forever home where there are other dogs for him to play with and learn from. Jack came in as a stray a while ago and has come a long way, but he still is fearful of some men (but NEVER shows aggression). Jack is a super nice boy with so much love. He needs a forever home ASAP! Please contact foster mom Mary Beth at 703-627-9696 or mbtrocheck@gmail.com if you're interested in this sweet dog!

Act quickly to adopt Jack. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Everman Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Everman, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Everman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Everman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Everman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Everman paves the way for another one to be saved.
