Odette's Story...
Odette (aka Mabel) and her sister, Odille (aka Penny), a pair of beautiful snowshoes, were former Abbey Cats who have been returned to the program. Odette is a little more reserved, less kittenish than her sister. She is more likely to sit back and contemplate the situation before settling in to playtime. But, if things are quiet with no unsettling distractions she will jump into the foray and explore and inspect her surroundings with enthusiasm. She loves to be brushed and will join in the conversation with her foster mom --'a little to the left, no! a little more... no too far, back, ahhhhhhhh, that's the spot.' Odette is quick to remind her foster and her mom, before her, that the food dishes are getting low.... 'come on, now.. a girl's gotta eat to maintain this figure!', Odette and Odille have been together since birth and must be adopted together to maintain their bonded happiness. If you have room in your heart and home for these beautiful girls fill out the application at abbeycats.org and someone will be in touch. 416 284 2140

About Our Rescue Group...
Abbey Cat Adoptions is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to finding permanent homes for unwanted cats and kittens throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Each year, ACA rescues cats from outdoor environments and overcrowded shelters.
Our cats live in a network of volunteer foster homes throughout the GTA until they are adopted into suitable, loving homes; we do not have a shelter. We are not government funded and we have no paid staff; we rely exclusively on the generosity of like-minded animal lovers to fund our program.
Our Adoption Process...
We want to make sure that our rescued cats and kittens go to good, loving homes so before we adopt, an adoption counselor will conduct a short pre-adoption interview to make sure that you and the cat are a good match.
