Kirby's Story...
irby is one of the sweetest little guys ever. A real prince to walk on a leash, he walks like a regal king. Amazing how gentle he is and a very laid back, loving guy. He would be an excellent companion for a single or retired person. Kirby would be glued to your lap. He is not demanding, gets along well with other dogs and loves his foster family's cat, Earl. He and Earl have become the best of buds. Kirby is just precious and if you love the Chi breed, he is the dog for you. Although he gets along well with children, we recommend a home with older children due to his small stature. He is just 7 pounds, but 7 pounds of pure love and devotion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kirby, a Sherman Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Sherman, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Sherman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sherman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sherman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sherman paves the way for another one to be saved.
