Chihuahua Mix Dog for adoption in Portland, Oregon - Barry

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Barry's Info...

Barry's Story...
If you prefer those “bad boy” types I am just not going to be for you.
I try with all my heart to be good. I am a true delight to be around. I
am well behaved, loving and do my best to please (and what a pleasant
size I am to!) I have lived with children and cats and I like
being with other dogs as well. I am pretty soft spoken and I can be a
little shy as we “good” boys sometimes are. I find flamboyant behavior
very unbecoming so I prefer to keep a low profile. But don’t you worry I
won’t hold back on the love! 8 months old- 11lbs. My adoption fee is $250 and includes; current shots, neuter, 5 week Training Class, free veterinary exam (SE Portland/Milwaukie area) ,1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barry, a Portland Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Portland, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
