Patches is fostered in Lewiston NY and his adoption donation is minimal
Meet patches he is a 12 year old cocker spaniel boy.
Patches has had a rough few months due to his elderly owner passing away and being put in his new foster home in Lewiston, NY.
He has had to make a lot of adjustments and meet a lot of new people in a very short time and wants nothing more then to find his forever home.
Patches is said to be a typical velcro cocker, his greatest love in life is being at his owners feet.
His foster says he follows her everywhere and cries when she is not in the room as he is not used to being alone.
He is currently fostered with 4 other dogs and 2 cats and has had no problems.
Patches main issue is he is very overweight but has come a long way in foster care, he will need a strict diet and daily exercise in his new home.
He is housebroken and crate trained and he is an awesome watch dog.
He is on a daily vitamin supplement for his joints as he was hit by a car when he was a puppy and walks with a limp but don't let that deter you as it has deinately not slowed him down.
With his current weight loss and daily exercise he is now able to run in the yard with the other dogs. Way to Go Patches !!!!
He walks well on a leash and knows his basic commands.
He was recently at the vet and recieved a complete physical with bloodwork and other then a typical cocker ear infection got a clean bill of health.
Looks like Patches has a long healthy life ahead of him.
So if you are interested in a laid back companion that will keep your feet warm in the cold winter months, Patches is your boy!!!
Patches is Neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and is heartworm negative.
