Pearl's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Pearl's Story...
Pearl is a very sweet and loyal young girl. She loves to run and play in the sunshine! A perfect companion to somebody with an active lifestyle (outdoors, etc.) She is very active and would love a nice large yard - loves to fetch freebies. She gets along well with other dogs but is just a bit too playful for cats. Very youthful in spirit, just has been waiting for a lot of love! Loves to ride shotgun. Small children would not be a good fit, not because she means any harm, only because of her size and she's kind of a big goofy. She is housetrained and we haven't had any trouble with that at all. She is just looking for a home that can give her the love she deserves.

Pearl is around 3yrs old and about 50-60lbs. Updated on shots, spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested. The adoption fee is $125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pearl, a Houston Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
