My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

As you can see from Roxanne's photos, she is quite adorable. She's so cute that she quickly became a favorite amongst the staff at Animal Control (aka the Pound). Despite the large number of dogs at the shelter, the staff kept Roxanne off the kill list for an entire month in hopes that someone would come and adopt her. Unfortunately that day did not arrive while she was at Animal Control and so RESCUE stepped in to save this cutie.

Roxanne is an unobtrusive gal, some might say reserved. She's just not pushy. She waits her turn and is thankful for everything she has. She enjoys going on walks but is still a bit unsure of our big world and can get scared of new things. With a small amount of encouragement she will trust our judgement that this new "thing" will not hurt her. She is an excellent walking companion, constantly checking in with her walking buddy.

While our little girl needs some confidence building, she has shown us that she is eager to learn and we are confident she will grown into a beautiful little lady. She'll need a home with daily walks, maybe the companionship of another easy going or wise canine brother/sister to help show her the way, daily cuddle time as our adorable little girl is also affectionate and of course a home that will love her for all the days of her life.
