Mr. Kitty's Story...
So, I have just about the worst luck a cat can have! I lived with my dad for 3 years and then he got married, his new wife didn't like me so I had to find a new home. I got adopted again and was supposed to be the only kitty in the house cause I like it that way. Well after 4 mos my new family decided they should get a kitten that I didn't like. Guess who had to get a new home again? Then I was adopted by a lady that just adored me....things were great, we were madly in love and I was the only pet, which is the way I need it to be. We lost our home and my mommy had to give me back. I came back to North Shore very depressed and sad for the first few days I was here. I have perked up again and Becky and the staff here have told me not to give up hope....they tell me I will find my furever home. I am already neutered, up to date on my shots, declawed, combo tested for FIV/FELV (negative). I am an absolute love when it comes to people. I love attention and to be brushed. Currently there is ALOT of me to love at 20 lbs. I need to lose some weight when I get to my new home. Becky tells me that I am an emotional eater. :) To meet me please call Becky at 239-989-9444. I have a reduced adoption fee of $50.00. Please make me part of your home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Kitty, a North Fort Myers Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in North Fort Myers, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in North Fort Myers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Fort Myers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Fort Myers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Fort Myers paves the way for another one to be saved.
