Tom's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Tom's Story...
I am just a typical puppy who really loves to play and have fun with dog friends and people who will satisfy my active nature. I even get along with cats! Of course, as a typical puppy, I am not yet housetrained but I am working on that and getting better with walking on the leash. I can give lots of love and fun if you help me learn to be a well mannered doggie. My estimated adult weight is about 35 lbs. My edob is 5/12.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tom, a Houston Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
