Amber's Story...
Amber is a total sweetie pie - she's about 10 months old, spayed, fully vaccinated/vetted and micro-chipped. Sadly, she was dumped/abandoned in a rural area of South Phoenix, and was just recently rescued and brought into foster care in August 2012. Reba is very loving, affectionate and loyal. She is a bit timid, and we are working with her socialization, as it appears she wasn't given much attention before. If you would like to meet Amber, please contact me to make arrangements.(This is a courtesy post - please contact Melanie at helpphxstrays@hotmail.com or 602-228-4466)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amber, a Scottsdale American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
