Reecie's Story...
8-10 month old Reecie is looking for a special home - - - - - - - because she's a very special dog. Reecie has a condition that requires that she eat several meals a day, in elevated bowls - and take a daily medication. Reecie has done extremely well here - and other than her eating needs, is a normal, happy, active puppy girl - who loves everything and everyone. We will be having Reecie's condition re-evaluated soon - but we see no reason as of now that she could not enjoy an almost normal, happy life. If you are interested in more information about Reecie or in giving her a forever home, please submit an application which you can find on our website (www.almostheaven-golden-retriever-rescue.org) Emailing an application to us will get the fastest response.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reecie, a Capon Bridge Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Capon Bridge, or seeking a Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Capon Bridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Capon Bridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Capon Bridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Capon Bridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
