euthanized.Please help him.
Snoopy is an incredibly gentle,8 year old male ,purebred Rottweiler currently at an High Kill Animal Shelter North of Santa Barbara.. Snoopy is all that is wonderful that a Rottweiler can be. It is his qualities of gentleness and benevelence that truly endear you to him. His face is full of joy..and his sweet soul shines clearly in his eyes. A few days ago he was attacked by a Pitbull who got out of her kennel...Snoopy was bitten three times..but DID NOT FIGHT BACK. He was taken to a vet to clean his wounds..and then sent back to the shelter.This shelter is small and has had to euthanize more dogs than usual because of space. Because Snoopy is 8 yrs. the shelter is talking of euthanizing him. There is no "list" at this shelter. It just happens one night. No one knows when.It is also a shelter that,through no fault of it's own,can only provide one (20 minute "walk a week for each dog. If this lover boy stays much longer in his small very hot kennel(can barely lay down at nite..),sleeping on concrete).. his beautiful spirit will be so lost and confused. Snoopy is a special ,wonderful soul...He has a a heart that needs to continue to love..and be loved. If there is anyone who would like to help Snoopy..by either fostering or adopting him..please e-mail me immediately for more imfo. He is nuetered and current on shots. I pray that someone can find a space in their heart and home for Snoopy to just hang out and be loved..and give love. Transportation is possible. Thank you.
