Ziggy is a 15 lb. 5-year-old neutered Maltese mix, possibly mixed with West Highland Terrier. Being slightly older, he is calm and past all of the nonsense – an easy dog. He is mostly white, but his ears and parts of his face are laced with the color of Apricot. Ziggy is friendly with everything and everyone! He is currently in a foster home with another dog and a cat. He is potty trained and house trained and can even be placed in an apartment, townhouse, or condo.

Ziggy was recently found in the street in South L.A. He had a micro-chip and his owner was called. The owner came into the shelter and told us they moved three months prior to an apartment that was not pet friendly. So they left Ziggy in the alley because they had a friend who was willing to feed him. Apparently he lived there for three months, poor guy. Well, now he is now safe and happy and he will make someone or family SO happy!!! Ziggy is good with other dogs, cats, and children. He is a fairly mellow guy and he would make a good companion dog or lap dog. Small dogs can easily live to be 15-17 years. If you are interested in Ziggy please contact Jennifer at:
