My name is AJ. I am a 7 year old, male, chocolate tri-color cocker with blue merle markings. I have come from an abusive past, so I will do best in a home without children, no cats and no other dogs. I will need a very caring owner who can work with me and help me to overcome my past issues which I am now doing alot better with, as I would just like to enjoy life and learn to be a good companion.

Please give me the 2nd chance that I deserve to have a home with someone to love me, care for me and just let me share a good life with you. If you have a fenced yard and can provide lots of patience, understanding and tlc, and can work with me on the issues that will help me to be a better cocker boy, then I would love to meet you. Simply put, if you can just accept me as I am and help me to work through the good times/bad times, I will do fine. This behavior is obviously due to my past life from a lady who must have badly mistreated me...and I would like a 2nd chance to become a great companion and best friend to share your life. Please give me this opportunity.....a huge chip has been lifted from my attitude towards humans, especially women.....but I will still need your love and patience to help me to enjoy a better life and a good life from now on. I have been to the vet recently and I now have a grade 1 to 2 heart murmur.

If you are interested in adoption this cocker boy, please email: larrydonnacarp@aol.com for an adoption application. Our adoption fee is $300 which includes all the vetting & medical needs

About Charlotte Cocker Rescue of NC

About Our Rescue Group...

My husband and I have been involved in rescue for many years. We started our own cocker rescue back in 2001. Our hope is to continue the work we love in helping as many homeless and shelter cockers find happy new forever homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We show pets upon application approval and home checks. Once all is approved we arrange for adoptions to happen on Saturdays. As we grow we will maybe hold weekend adoption shows.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process begins with applications which we email to potential adopters. Our fee is $300 for which all pets are altered, groomed, current on all shots, as well. Written proof is given to each adopter at time of adoption.
