Oliver's Story...
Hi everybody. My name is Oliver! I was rescued on August 30 of this year by a nice girl from Saving Argo Dog Rescue. My owners got me when I was a month old and tied me outside until the day I got rescued. I hope I have a family to call my own too. I have a lot of rehabilitation to go through, but I promise I will be a good dog once it's all done. If you would like to meet me, please contact savingargorescue@gmail.com. Ruff!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver, a Grand Rapids Husky/Alaskan Malamute puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Alaskan Malamute for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Husky/Alaskan Malamute puppy from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Husky/Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
