Genevieve's Story...
Genevieve, Copper's tortoiseshell/tabby sister, is his equal in every way, holding her own in all the kitten games. She also loves cuddling with her sister, Anastasia.

Copper, Genevieve, and Anastasia were born to a stray cat in Fairborn and were taken in by a family concerned for their welfare. They have been in rescue since they were about 8 weeks old. They are up-to-date on shots and have been microchipped. All are good with our dog.

Her adoption fee is $75, or you can get a discount for adopting kittens in pairs. We encourage all adopters to take into consideration that most cats do better when they have a companion. All of our cats and kittens are kept current on shots, worming, and will be microchipped by us. And when it's time, we'll take care of their spaying/neutering. Plus, they come with a 3-week health guarantee and a 2-week satisfaction or refund guarantee; although we think you'll fall in love and never want to let them go. Call 937-271-1411 or email cat_rescue@earthlink.net to inquire about any of our adoptable cats and kittens. Many of our kitties can also be seen at Pet Supplies Plus on Saturday from 1 to 6; we alternate between Centervillle and Kettering stores so call for that weekend's location before you come.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Genevieve, a Fairborn Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fairborn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Fairborn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairborn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairborn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairborn paves the way for another one to be saved.
