Rose - Adopted!'s Story...
My name is Rose and I am a very sweet, 6 1/2 year old, black cocker girl. I came here from an owner who told this rescue that they were getting a divorce, but they actually turned me in along with my mom, Sophie, because they had neglected some serious health issues. My Mom and I have both successfully had bladder stones removed and I am now a healthy girl with no issues. I do require a special CD food diet to keep me healthy, but I am feeling great and I hope to find a home real soon and someone to love me, so that I can just enjoy life. Being on a special diet is not so expensive that it should keep you from adopting me. I am actually healthy and doing well because of being on this special food, and I have had no further issues. Please give me the chance that I deserve to have a nice home, someone to love me and a place to call my own. Maybe my new home is with you! I would love to meet you!

If you are interested in adopting this sweet, wonderful cocker girl, please email: for an adoption application. Our adoption fee is $300 which
includes all the vetting and medical needs for the dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rose - Adopted!, a Kannapolis Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Kannapolis, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Kannapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kannapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kannapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kannapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
