Genie's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with cats.

Genie's Story...
Genie and Yoshi are buddies and need to be adopted together. Genie is on the smaller side of size for a shih tzu. She tends to be more outgoing than Yoshi, but she is very attached to him. They do not like big dogs or being kenneled, so crates are not an option for these two. They like to snuggle - Genie will crawl right under the covers with you if she is not getting the affection she believes she deserves! They do well in the car. No young children please.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Genie, a Denver Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Denver, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
