Pepper came in with her mother, Polly. Both are up for adoption. They are attached but can be adopted separately. Pepper is very sweet and likes to be held. She stands up for attention. The more attention she gets the happier she is. Pepper is about a year old.
Polly and her mother were trapped at a local trailer park and taken to animal control to be euthanized. A Shadow Cat Advocate volunteer got them out before they could be killed.
Pepper has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, has been dewormed, and is up to date with all her shots. Pepper requires a home where she will never be declawed, or allowed to go outside.
If you would like to find out more about adopting this delightful cat, please call Cari at 571-408-9626 or email shadowcatadvocates@comcast.net. We answer emails as quickly as possible, but calling for info will be much faster.
Rescue Group Info...
Shadow Cat Advocates exists to provide assistance to all the abandoned and forgotten cats and kittens that live all around us. We are a 501c3 non-profit and all donations to our organization are deductible to the extent allowed by IRS laws. We have no office expenses, no salaries, and our volunteers all work for FREE and pay their own expenses. Without volunteers, our mission would be meaningless. We are looking for additional volunteers. Are you willing to foster a cat for a short period, become a caretaker, help trap, or assist in one of our fundraising event? Shoot us an email as any help you can offer will be met with a huge THANK YOU! Be sure to go to our web site to find out more about our organization: www.shadowcatadvocates.org
We do not have a “store front” as all fostering is done in a home environment. To schedule an appointment to visit the cats or kittens, please give us a call at (571) 408-9626.
Adoption fees vary based on the veterinary care the cat has received prior to adoption. We will do a vet check to make sure the pet(s) you have currently or previously in your home have received adequate and yearly veterinary visits. A lifetime care contract and home visit are part of the adoption process.
We service the Stafford / Spotsylvania County areas, but will do adoptions out of state.
