Twinkle's Story...
Twinkle is playful and full of personality! She likes water and is a smart little girl! Her mother was rescued from a shelter in Northern Arizona just a few days before she gave birth on July 10, 2012. Mom is about 38 lbs and she will likely be around the same size or a little larger. We do not know anything about the father. Brea is a really good puppy and she is going to be a great dog! She is well socialized and is good with other dogs and with children, and she is very smart. The family who adopts Brea will be very lucky, as she will bring much love and joy to her household! Her adoption fee is $300 and that includes de-worming, spay, microchip and series of DAPP puppy vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Twinkle, please contact Delon.Washo@asu.edu or 602-295-4518.

AZ Prussian Snailhound Dog Rescue would like to remind everyone that puppies are a big commitment and require a lot of attention. Puppies often exhibit undesirable behaviors such as chewing and digging. Of course they also are a lot of fun and are very lovable too. When choosing a puppy please consider how much time you will be able to spend training and socializing your new puppy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Twinkle, a Phoenix Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
