Mary Jo -VA- Adopted!'s Story...
My name is Mary Jo and I am a sweet & loving, tri-color cocker girl, about 6 years old. I came here from a shelter where I had been turned in and then adopted out. Then I got returned because the people found out that I had a neglected health issue with bladder stones that needed immediate surgery to be removed. Thanks to CCR I am now a happy, healthy girl and I have been stone free and doing well with no issues. I do require a special diet to stay healthy, but I really would love to have a home of my own and someone to love me for the sweet, happy, wonderful girl that I am. Please give me the home that I deserve. I will be a great best friend and a good companion. I have been moved to a great foster home in VA where I am happy and doing well until I can find my new forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mary Jo -VA- Adopted!, a Kannapolis Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Kannapolis, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Kannapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kannapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kannapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kannapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
