Blackie's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with dogs.

Blackie's Story...
My brother and I love to look at the bedroom window when our foster daddy is sleeping. We also like to jump on his bed and flop down and spread out. We also enjoy our foster daddy's meals with him. He feds us small pieces and we get special treats. We love to run and chase each other through the house. We like to sit with our foster daddy and watch TV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blackie, a Santa Ana American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Santa Ana, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Santa Ana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Ana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Ana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Ana paves the way for another one to be saved.
