My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Scruffy! I am a 5 month old male Beagle/ Terrier mix with one blue eye and one brown eye. I weigh around 18 pounds and have lots of scraggly hair. Charlie’s brought me in since my old family couldn’t keep me.
I am a sweet boy that needs some socialization. Sometimes I get nervous because I’m insecure and will growl. My foster mom is teaching me how to behave appropriately when meeting new people and dogs. Once I am introduced to a canine friend and go on a walk, then I feel much more comfortable and will play for hours on end. I currently am being fostered with 3 other females and LOVE the attention! My foster mom is trying to expose me to as many new situations and experiences as possible since I didn’t get that in my earlier months. I am going to need a family that can continue my socialization and training.
I do great at going potty outside and haven’t had an accident yet! I was never crate trained when I was younger so I am not particularly fond of my kennel. I do whine and bark when I am crated, so I am hoping my new family won’t be gone for long hours during the day or will allow me to roam freely in the house, preferably with a canine brother or sister I can play with. I do wonderfully at night being left out of my kennel and have been trusted to sleep on the bed!
I am up-to-date on all my shots and was recently neutered and microchipped. I come with two free private training sessions provided by Naughty Dog Training. If you are interested in taking me home and making me part of your family please email Charlie’s Guardian Angels at info@charliesguardianangels.org
