10/28/12 - I'VE BEEN ADOPTED!

9/14/12 - Koko had surgery to have his bladder stones removed yesterday and recovering quite nicely. He is such a champ and takes everything in stride. He is going to feel so much better with this extra baggage out of his system. He just wanted to let everyone know that he had to be cut on and would appreciate everyone taking a minute to think about him.
9/1/12 - Sweet Koko went in for his dental yesterday and is not toothless. He is feeling so much better without all those rotten, loose teeth in their. The vet also said that Koko has a touch of arthritis in his back end and would benefit from being on glucosamine for this. After his dental, they did x-rays, and it was discovered that he has 7 bladder stones that will need to come out. So Koko is going to recuperate from this surgery and in about a week and a half, we will get those nasty stones out of there and send them off and then figure out what type food he will need to be on.
Koko is a trooper and is doing well since arriving home. After all of these things are taken care of, he is going to feel like a new, older gentlemen. It's just a shame he has gone so long in this condition, but is on his way to being pain free.
8/21/12 - My name is KoKo and I am a sweet little guy who loves life. My previous mom passed away and family members took me, but after a year realized that they did not have the time for me. I also had not had any vetting done in several years. So now I’m up to date on everything, we are currently taking care of a very bad yeast and staph infections on my skin that have been festering for quite some time and then I will go get my teeth cleaned (what teeth I have). Don’t have many and it seems that there are some that clearly will have to come out during the dental, so I will be close to toothless. LOL It’s ok though because I’m a hearty eater and if you wet my hard food and let it sit until it is soggy, I lap it up just fine. I also like soft food too. I’m a social butterfly and would love another pup my size to play with. I love getting attention and am working on my potty training.
