Boris-Adopted!'s Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Boris-Adopted!'s Story...
Boris was surrendered to us after his previous family got a new puppy. He had spent the vast majority of his time in a small crate with little chance to get out and play with the people or other dogs in the house. He has proven to be a smart, eager boy. He already knows sit, shake, and lay down, is house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Boris is a goofy, fun loving dog with a lot of love to give. He does great with most other dogs his size or larger as well as older children. He would love a home with someone who can spend lot of time with him. Boris is a heartworm survivor who is now healthy, happy, and ready to find his forever home! Birth date 8/28/10

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boris-Adopted!, a Detroit American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Detroit, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
