Max's Story...
Max

Max is a fantastically marked black and white Maine Coon mix kitten, about 10-12 months. He is awesome. He has the best personality. He loves other cats, he loves to sleep with you, but most importantly, he wants to play with you.

Kitten policies are in effect. Kittens must go to a home with another young cat (under 3 years) or kitten or be adopted with another young cat/kitten. There may be a reduced rate on the second kitten. No exceptions will be made.

Adoption fee is $150.

Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.

Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Ennis Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Ennis, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Ennis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ennis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ennis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ennis paves the way for another one to be saved.
