My name is Coco and I am a very nice, 6 year old, chocolate cocker boy. I was turned into a shelter as a very neglected dog with mats and overgrown fur, so I never got adopted. Then I got really sick with pneumonia and was brought to this rescue and almost died, but these nice CCR folks got me through it all. Thankfully, I have recovered well, so I am now a happy, healthy, very good boy.
I would just love to have a home with a fenced backyard where I could be outside on a nice day, and for someone to love me and give me attention too. I have been here at CCR for over 2 years now, and for some reason I have sadly been overlooked. I am just a very nice boy and a real sweetheart. I was taken to the vets office just recently for a check-up, and these nice rescue folks found out that I liked a 3 year old boy who was with a client waiting in the lobby with their dog. Come see me soon . . . I am a real sweet boy and a big love sponge; just a big, silly, goofball of a cocker spaniel. I like tummy rubs and just being with my human companion. Please help me to find my way to the home that I really deserve. I do have a dry eye condition, but it is not real expensive to keep me healthy and once you get used to it, it's no big thing. If you are looking for a great pal to share your life with and a wonderful new friend, I would love to meet you! I am in a foster home right now and doing well until I can be adopted.
