Bogey's Story...
"Hi there everyone....if you are looking for a really special little dog, who will just light up your life and bring a smile to your face, then look no further than my kennel. My name is BOGEY and I'm a four-year-old Chihuahua-Jack Russell Terrier fellow who is in need of a new forever home. I think I am one of the cutest little fellows ever. I love going for walks, I love to snuggle, and I would be content to just sit by your side and relax. I'm over the top in love with people, and I'm a sensitive soul, so I would do best in a home without children. I'm the right size to be the perfect house dog, and I have an easy-care short coat. You'll be happy to know that I've already been house trained, too. Please come to our shelter and give me a chance. When you get to the shelter, look for me in kennel #53, then just ask our wonderful shelter staff to introduce you to the very handsome, adorable, and very sweet fellow whose name is BOGEY, and we just might discover that we are meant to be together "FUR"EVER. We've got great exercise yards here at our shelter, and they are the perfect place for us to get acquainted. Hope to see you real soon, and you can bet that I'll be watching for you. Love, Bogey" Kennel #53

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bogey, a El Cajon Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
