My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jessie is a beautiful six-month-old, around 40 pound girl, and she's got just a little bit of growing left to do. If you love the herding breeds, she is a wonderful mix too. True to both breeds though, she is cautious around new people. Give her a minute or two or ten to figure you out and then she's ready to set up that friendship that is so very pivotal to the herding dogs.

Due to circumstances beyond their control, Jessie's family could not keep her, though they love her and cared for her very much. She was a touch confused and scared in her new surroundings but with us walking her through things, it took her just a little time to settle in here

Crate and house trained, Jessie walks like a pro on lead. She knows basic commands too. Jessie is good with other dogs as long as you introduce them properly (she can be a little scared of them at first). If you have cats, please ask us how she has done with our own cats as we have not yet had a chance to test her with them. She is a sweet and loving dog who is ready to grace the life of her new adopting family.
