Snoopy's Story...
Meet Snoopy!

He's a 7-year-old Maltese and cute as can be. He is very smart and praise motivated, is playful and a lover. His favorite things include, lap cuddle time, squeaky toys, and walks.

He knows his name and is learning "come" and he would love to learn more commands. He is not very keen on crates, but is 100% house-trained and can be left alone without any problem. He's more reliable than a door bell and will notify you of any visitors. He also knows how to bark to be let out and back in.

He gets along swimmingly with other dogs and cats and children. He loves humans so much that he would prefer to have one around all the time, but if that's not possible, he'll "settle" for a canine friend.

Photos show him pre and post summer shave. What a cute fluff ball!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snoopy, a Alliance Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Alliance, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Alliance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alliance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alliance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alliance paves the way for another one to be saved.
