My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mary Lou was dumped in the woods of Missouri with 11 other little dogs. Lucky for her a Missouri rescue went out and was able to capture 8 of the dogs and bring them to safety. Dennis, Mary Lou, Kippy and Bob all made their way to the Sunrise Foundation in Lakewood, Colorado thanks to rescue transports. Beside fleas, intestinal worms and some malnutrition, Mary Lou is in good shape. She has undergone treatment to rid her of all of her parasites and she is putting on weight.

Mary Lou is just a wonderful little girl. She can be shy but becomes loving, friendly and playful when she is comfortable. She is ready to get on with her life and bond with a family to call her own. We really are not sure about Mary Lou's breed. She appears to be a terrier or black lab mix that will stay on the medium to small side.

If you would like to meet this precious girl please fill out an application and email it Sunrise. The adoption application is also available on our website (see below). She will be spayed, micro chipped and up to date on her shots. $250 to qualified home.
