My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mercury is a full of energy pup. He loves to play with the older dogs here in his foster home. When they are tired of playing with him he turns to the cats to play with. One just growls at him and the other swats him. He thinks they like him. He eventually gives up and plays with toys or chews a nylabone by himself. Mercury sleeps in his crate all night with only getting up once to tell me he has to potty, then it's off to sleep again. Of course he would rather sleep in the big bed with foster mom but he settles for his crate which is right next to foster mom’s bed. He has learned to use the doggie door and uses it like a pro. When he needs to potty he zooms out and goes. If the door is closed he will pee on the floor. He hasn't learned how to tell foster mom to open the door.

Mercury loves to spend the day outside grazing on grass and catching bugs. He would make a wonderful pet for someone who is willing to do some basic training with him. He loves to snuggle and will seek out his humans for cuddle time especially when he gets tired.
