Brutus's Story...
This is Brutus he is a 10 month old Large mix breed. He was an owner surrender as he got much bigger than they thought he would and they could not handle him. It appears they didn't give him a lot of rules when it comes to being around his humans, he is a jumper and does not have many leash manners. He is smart though and willng to learn. He needs a family that likes to be active, bike, hike, run. He will be a great dog for the right family and deserves all the love and attention he needs to succeed!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brutus, a Garden City German Shepherd Dog/Vizsla dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Vizsla for sale in Garden City, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Vizsla dog from a breeder in Garden City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garden City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garden City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Vizsla breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Vizsla rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garden City paves the way for another one to be saved.
