Ruby Tuesday's Story...
Ruby Tuesday is a tall 1 year old sweetheart that is a short rough coat Saint Bernard. She still has growing to do and we estimate that her adult weight will probably be around 120 pounds. She knows her obedience commands, is completely trustworthy in the home, does not counter surf and will not even eat out of her own bowl until told "okay" by her person! She gets along great with other dogs and the perfect home for her would have at least one other dog that she can be buddies with. She can get a little nervous around toddlers, so it is suggested that children in the home be at least 5 years old and trained to be nice to her. If interested in adopting Ruby Tuesday, please fill out an adoption application on our web site at www.sunnysaints.org and submit it. You will be contacted shortly!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby Tuesday, a Bellflower St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
