Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucky was rescued from almost being hit by a car off of the East Freeway. He was starving, and needed help fast! That was Lucky’s ‘lucky’ day!
Now that he is being well-fed and receiving the care he so desperately needed, it seems that Lucky is quite a great dog! Lucky is a friendly, energetic and enthusiastic dog with a little bit of cautious suspicion thrown in from his days of living on the streets where it was hard to trust anyone. Lucky is an obedient and outgoing canine that can be protective at times. Already house and crate trained, he understands the word “no” and is working to expand his existing commands of sit, fetch, come and lay down.
Lucky has been fostering with a family that has children, and he has a great time playing with them and fetching his ball. While Lucky is not fond of strangers or cats at this time, he can learn to deal with it over time. Lucky prefers land over sea, so you don’t have to worry about him swimming in your pool! He likes to ride in the car and does not get frightened during thunderstorms or when loud noises occur. Lucky is used to a leash and likes going on walks. He can be a bit of a jumper, and has been known to jump a fence, so it is best not to leave him alone in the yard until he is completely settled in his new home.
Lucky has what it takes to fill the job as your family dog! Do you have space in your heart and home for him?
