Milo is a typical 11 month old IG pup, healthy, happy, and ACTIVE. He likes to play & run; nap then play & run; eat then play & run, then run & play. If you do not have an active, young dog and a yard Milo is not the dog for you. He is house trained to use a doggy door and he is very consistent and reliable in his routine. He is also a “jumper” so counter tops and tables are at risk for this inquisitive pup. While in foster care he has learned to walk on leash and we are working on curbing his “counter surfing”. If you have the time, patience and love to provide this endless bundle of activity and joy with training and guidance he will reward you with years of devotion and companionship. IGCA Rescue application guidelines are outlined on www.italiangreyhound.org

We are always willing to consider placing a dog out of state, but applicants are asked to apply to and work with us through their local IGCA Representative

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a Costa Mesa Italian Greyhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Costa Mesa, or seeking a Italian Greyhound puppy from a breeder in Costa Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Costa Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Costa Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Costa Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
