Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mia is one of 3 orphaned kittens found when only 2-3 days old. Her 2 siblings were healthy when found, but something - we think a bird - had attacked Mia and left her with over a dozen small puncture wounds. Many were just through the skin, but 2 were through her abdomen and her spleen was sticking out of the largest wound. Despite her wounds, she was bright and alert (for a 2-3 day old), so she was taken to surgery and had her spleen pushed back into her abdomen and the wounds sutured up. Against all odds, she survived her surgery and has done well.
She's a bit smaller than her 2 littermates - who were fixed and adopted a week ago, but she is doing well. She should be spayed and have a small hernia (from her initial wounds) repaired soon and will then be ready for adoption. She is super affectionate, loving, and playful and really a very special kitten.
