Turtle's Story...
Hey there! My name is Turtle! I was found running loose on a rural road with another dog late August of 2012. Neither of us had on collars, neither of us were microchipped, and both of us were intact. I got the name Turtle from my foster mom, because she thought I looked like a turtle peeking out of my crate when I first came to her house. Both of us dogs still need socialization, although I am getting much better about getting touched. I play really well with my foster brother! I am walking on a leash, but I do pull quite a bit. I do not have accidents in the house as long as I am kept on a schedule. I have been spayed, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested, and vaccinated. My adoption fee is $250 and comes with a 6 week training class up to $109. If you would like to meet me, please take a peek SPLT's events calendar and send an email at info@softplacetoland.org to let them know you will be coming to meet me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Turtle, a Ft. Collins French Bulldog/Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a French Bulldog/Boston Terrier for sale in Ft. Collins, or seeking a French Bulldog/Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Ft. Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even French Bulldog/Boston Terrier breeders who help with French Bulldog/Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
