Fostered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Age: 2.5 years
Weight: 26 lbs.
9/11/12 - I was found as a stray and my foster parents are just amazed that no one is looking for me because I am a perfect dog.
I am currently in a foster home with small dogs (10 lbs and under) and get along with them perfectly and am quite respectful of them. I would like a dog to play with since I love to play chase with these little ones here. I am housebroken (i know, that’s huge). I have free roam at my foster home, but do fine in a crate when no one is home (for my safety) I would like a fenced in yard to run around in. I love, love, love my people. I love to raise up on you and wrapped my legs around your neck and throw my neck on your mouth to get kisses. I give kisses to. I am very delicate in the house and very respectful. At night when foster mom tells me it's time to go to sleep, I curl up in a ball on my bed and sleep all through the night. I would love to sleep in bed with my humans (and really take up little space since I curl into a ball), but foster mom and dad are full with their little ones up there, so I'm content on my bed right by theirs.
One thing foster mom found out is that I am definitely afraid of bad weather (mainly lightening and thunder). She thought this is why I was picked up stray since we had a lot of bad weather around the time I was roaming stray. I have a thundershirt now and wear it when the weather is bad, but still like to be hugged to help with my shaking and nerves.
If you add me to your family, you’ll feel so blessed that you’ll never ask for anything again.
